She was born in Marbella, Málaga in 1988,He studied Environmental Sciences in Granada. He is currently doing his PhD at the Stockholm Resilience Center (Stockh olm University) on global plastic pollution.Her decision to dedicate herself to science was not widely understood at first in her immediate environment: they believed that "scientific" was a man's thing. She considers that this is a not so distant reality and that it is her responsibility to make visible the importance of incorporating women and girls in all areas, especially in the scientific and political spheres.

Curiosities

She specialized in palticos because in 2010, during a volunteer work he did with the Cape Verde organization Natura 2000, he saw how some of the turtles that arrived at the beach came with some of their fins amputated. And possibly the cause was that they had become trapped in ghost nets. Other turtles arrived sick and died, and when a necropsy was performed it was discovered that their stomachs were full of plastic.
