- kingdom in Nubia, centered along the Nile Valley in what is now northern Sudan and southern Egypt;- about 780 BC – AD 350 (Bronze Age to Late Antiquity) - Capital: Kerma, Napata e Meroë
General information
The native name of the Kingdom was recorded in Egyptian as kꜣš, likely pronounced IPA: [kuɫuʃ] or IPA: [kuʔuʃ] in Middle Egyptian, when the term was first used for Nubia, based on the New Kingdom-era Akkadian transliteration of the genitive kūsi.

- The kingdom of Kush supplied Egypt with products from the interior of Africa;
- The Nile could have been used as a two-way corridor, but it wasn't;
