Past MEdical History

Too many, doctor!

I've got type 2 diabetes and I take insulin for that, but I also broke my hip 3 years ago and still have quite bad pains in my joints.

Any Allergies

Only to doctors!

No allergies to medicines or foods...

What about sex?

Nobody's ever asked...

It's absolutely ruined our sexual relationship. Is there anything you can do to help? I wasn't going to ask but now you've mentioned it that would make a big difference to mine and my wife's life!

Any incontinence?

........yes.

I hate to admit it but I've had more than a few times when I've not made it to the toilet. I don't want to complain because my family are doing their best to help me but that's why I've started wearing the pads. It's one of those things that you just never think will happen to you, you know?

Family History

Yes...

My sister had dialysis because her kidneys stopped working.My brother had bladder cancer but that was cured- he died of a heart attack.

Medication changes?

Not really...

The nurse changed my insulin dose a few months ago because I was having low blood sugar but otherwise I just take a bone protection tablet on mondays, a calcium supplement, a stomach protection tablet, metformin and a blood pressure medicine I've taken for years.
