FANBOYS....

OR
YET
SO
Before every single one of these conjunctions, you need to add a comma.
Other comma rules...
Wherever a sentence needs a 'breath,' add a comma.
After an introductory clause, add a comma.
When you're separating items in a series, add a comma. (For example: I need to buy apples, bananas, and grapes at the store.)
Before a direct quotation, "add a comma."
Whenever you're referring to someone directly, add a comma. "My friend, Steven, is coming to the party."
Again -- remember that transition conjuctions need a comma, too. FANBOYS.
