Here's a refresher on how to use commas!
Start >
FOR
FANBOYS....
AND
NOR
Before every single one of these conjunctions, you need to add a comma.
BUT
OR
YET
SO
Other comma rules...
When you're separating items in a series, add a comma. (For example: I need to buy apples, bananas, and grapes at the store.)
After an introductory clause, add a comma.
Wherever a sentence needs a 'breath,' add a comma.
Again -- remember that transition conjuctions need a comma, too. FANBOYS.
Whenever you're referring to someone directly, add a comma. "My friend, Steven, is coming to the party."
Before a direct quotation, "add a comma."
