Fractions are numbers that represent part of a whole. Fractions have two numbers: the numerator and the denominator. The numerator is the number on the top of a fraction that shows the number of parts that are selected or present. The denominator is the number on the bottom of a fraction that shows the total number of parts into which the whole piece is divided.

Remove the percent sign. Divide the number by 100
