THE ROCK
The Rocca of Cefalù is a spectacular cliff 268 meters high from which the city took its name. Part of the perimeter of the fortress is characterized by the presence of crenellated walls dating back to the Middle Ages and then completed in the 15th century. At the top you can admire the remains of a medieval castle dating back to the XII-XIV century, for this reason the Rocca is also called in dialect: "u castieddu". Close to them, there are the remains of the Temple of Diana, a megalithic monument, probably destined for the cult of pagan divinities.
Tuesday 12 November
Duomo di Cefalù
The Cathedral of Cefalù (Italian: Duomo di Cefalù) is a Roman Catholic basilica in Cefalù, Sicily. It is one of nine structures included in the UNESCO World Heritage Site known as Arab-Norman Palermo and the Cathedral Churches of Cefalù and Monreale.
Tuesday 12 November
Museo Mandralisca
This small, privately owned museum showcases a collection amassed by parliamentarian, archaeologist and natural-history buff, Baron Mandralisca (1809–64). The rather faded displays of Greek ceramics and Arab pottery are of marginal interest compared to Antonello da Messina's splendid Ritratto di un uomo ignoto (Portrait of an Unknown Man; 1465), considered one of the most distinctive portraits of the Italian Renaissance.
Wednesday 13 November
Segesta
