Client Sessions
- Prepare your station
- Clean - mirror, chair, trolley, equipment
- Combs, brushes, scissors must be clean
- Set up trolley,
- Gather equipment needed
- PPE: Personal Protective Equipment
- Gowns, capes, towels ready
- Apron & Gloves
Preparation
INTRODUCTIONS
- Introduce yourself with a smile
- Hi, I am Nicola and I will be your stylist today
- Treat your client as an important person - Giving your full attention to their needs
- Address the client by their status and name, eg Mr/Ms/Mrs Jones, etc.
- Do not become over familiar with a client and never address a client by ‘Love’, ‘Darling’, etc

- Never lose your temper or show anger to a client - no matter now difficult they may be
- Never use ‘slang’ terms or use bad language in front of clients
- Avoid drama - deal with issues discreetly
- ANY ISSUES - Speak to a Tutor

- You will take off the clients gowns and towels

- You will then guide them back to the reception desk
- You will wait with them untill the receptionists are ready to take their bill

- 'Thank you for letting me do your hair today' or It was lovely to meet you, Goodbye'
Service is complete
- You are allowed to accept tips
- Small amounts of cash from clients
- After a service has been performed
- If they offer a tip its because they are happy and want to give you a tip.
- Just accept with grace
- 'your very kind, Thank you'
- Do Not come into the salon showing off
