First Period

The Venetian foothills area was known for the production of footwear, a tradition that began during the period of the Great War, when the production of military footwear to support the soldiers spread in the Treviso area, which found itself on the front. The original logo, conceived way back in 1948, has resisted the passage of time, remaining unchanged for over sixty years. A bold design, with sans-serif capital letters with a modern and heavy line,underlined by an elegant horizontal check above the “O”.

In 2013, the brand embarked on a new graphic direction. The Diadora emblem has transformed into a geometric V- shaped bird silhouette, a symbol of freedom and movement, capturing the essence of the brand.

The company was the technical sponsor of the Italian national football team from 1986 to 1994 and has developed technical collaborations with international sportsmen such as the tennis players Bjorn Borg and Jennifer Capriati, the footballers Roberto Baggio, Marco Van Basten and many others.
