thank you!

  • Computer is located in the bottom right of the sound booth
  • Power for the computer is a small circular button on the front
  • Monitor power button is on the back of the monitor on the bottom right side
  • The computer is SLOW starting up, expect a bit of a wait!
  • Use the rechargeable AA batteries from the charger (please put back in the charger when finished!)
  • Turn on/off wireless handheld mic by long pressing the button. Short press to mute the mic.
  • Turn on/off the wireless headset/lapel mic by using the switch or button on the top of the wireless pack.

When you're done, basically do everything in reverse:Use the Sony controls to put projector on "standby." Close all apps and shut down the computer. Take batteries out of mics and put them in the charger. Power off the amps and soundboard from bottom to top. If you adjusted knobs or faders, return them to where they were. Simply put, leave everything the way you found it and you've done a great job! 😁

  • The Sony controls open in a browser window. Go to the Control tab. You'll see the projector is in Standby mode. Click the button to turn the projector on. (When you're done you'll put it back in Standby)
  • You could also use the white Sony remote control for the projector but it can be tricky to make it work sometimes.
  • Launch Powerpoint and open your file. Go to the Slideshow menu and click "Present" to display on screen
  • If you have created a presentation in Proclaim, launch Proclaim and open your presentation from the File menu. Click the "On Air" button to display on screen
  • Does your presentation have audio? Use the "Proj Comp" channel on the soundboard!
  • The main power switch is on the top right in the rack.
  • The 3 Crown amplifiers are stacked in the middle of the rack and the power buttons are on the right side of each.
  • Please remember to power ON from top to bottom. (When you are done, you will power OFF in reverse, from bottom to top!)

Great!

These pop-up windows will give you a little more information as you go. You can close them by clicking the button on the top right corner of the window. Now you're ready to walk through the basics of sound and projection in our sanctuary!

  • A channel is muted when light is RED.
  • Unmute and adjust faders for your mic channels.
  • Unmute and adjust faders for Groups and Main in the center of soundboard
  • Handheld mics are in the Sing Mix, headset/lapels are in the Talk Mix.
  • Unless you know what you're doing, please don't turn any knobs 😊
