Write a subtitle that provides further information

With Genially templates you can include visual resources to engage the class from minute one. You can also highlight key content to facilitate understanding and even embed external content that surprises and provides more context to the topic: videos, photos, audios... Whatever you want!

Boxlight

Boxlight is the screen located in your classroom. Think of it as a large tablet. You can use it similarly to how you might use a tablet - you can touch and drag with it! You also have the capability to connect your device, like a laptop, to it to use as another screen. Depending on how you might be using it might change the way you choose to connect (or not connect) to it. The Boxlight also works as a whiteboard, but think of it as a more enhanced whiteboard. Much easier to erase and you have the ability to save what you create on the whiteboard and upload to the cloud.

Learn more about your Boxlight and access tools and resources to help you enhance your instruction using Boxlight by clicking here.

Duo Enrollment

DUO Mobile: Duo is a two-factor authentication which adds a second layer of security to your network account. This verifies your identity and prevents anyone else from logging into your account, protecting you and Oakland Schools data from security vulernabilities. All staff must enroll in this service to access their accounts on a daily basis.

Self-Service Password Manager

Logging On

Logging onto the Network: New employees will be issued a network login (firstname.lastname@pontiacschools.org) and temporary password. When you log in for the first time, you will be prompted to change your password. Please change your password, then enroll in Self-Service Password Manager.
