There are three parts to our invitation:
The Tea Party
Part 1 What & Where?
Dear Mr Gumpy and your animal friends,
We’d like to ask you all to come,
To a tea party that will be so much fun! In our classroom, big and bright,
Come next Friday, it will be a delight!
Part 2 What food?
We’ll have sandwiches with cheese and ham, Some cakes with icing and strawberry jam.
There will be fruit like apples, grapes and pears, With drinks like tea and juice to share!
After the food, we will run and play,
With games to make a happy day:
• Row the Boat, and row with care,
• Animal Actions, to show your flair!
• Don’t Rock the Boat, stay nice and steady,
• Mr Gumpy’s Obstacle Course – get ready!
We hope you’ll come and have a blast!
Lots of love from,
The Reception class
