During this opperation. The planes was used for may opperations. Like
missions of reconnaissance, escort or deception, protection of allied troops on the ground, targeting of the enemy on the ground and in the air.
About 5,000 ships of all sizes are needed to transport troops and equipment. They travel the route that separates England from Normandy during the night. It is the most important Armada in history. Warships escort transport ships and move in columns. They are protected by captive balloons that prevent any enemy aircraft from flying in a raze-motte.
During the Normandy Landing the Land vehicle was carry on the ship or drop with a parachut from a plane over the normandy.
