What is an invented language?
An invented language, also known as a constructed language (conlang), is a language that is deliberately created by an individual or group rather than evolving naturally over time as most languages do. They are created in order to test theories about the brain, to improve exist language or to develop a whole new world with a book or film. These languages are built with specific goals and often include their own vocabulary, grammar and syntax.
