POVERTY IN THE WORLD

Many people understand poverty only as a lack of money, but beyond that it is above all the deprivation of a

person's dignity. The denial of basic necessities is extreme poverty and represents about 8.75% of the world's population, of which 4.16% child poverty.

RELATIVE POVERTY

It is also important to consider relative poverty, i.e. the measure of economic

hardship in to the average standard of living of a society, for example only in the Sub-Saharan belt of the Africa it is difficult to reach 5 years of life.

STANDARD OF LIVING

Some of the most important reasons that contribute to poverty are: widespread poverty, health and

life expectancy, education, access to basic services and the economy and unemployment. These factors develop mainly in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Zimbabwe, Burundi, Liberia and Eritrea.
