Rememberence Day

Remberence Day is to commemorate the enf of World War I and honor all military personel who have lost their lives in conflict.In the UK Int he UK and Commonwealth countries,, people observe a two minute silence at 11am. The poppy has become a symbol of rememberaence due to the famous World War I poem.

"In Flanders Fields the poppies blow, between the crosses, row on row. That mark our place; and in the sky, the larks, still bravely singing, fly Scarce heard amid the guns below."

Philosophy Day

Established by UNESCO in 2002, the day celebrates people around the world to engage with philosphical ideas, reflect on life's big questions, and promote the value of critical thinking.

Movember started in 2003 between two friends who challenged each other to bring back the mustache as a fashion statement.Today, it has funded over 1,200 men's health projects globally, using the mustche as a conversation starter.

Cappuccino Day

This day pay tribute to the iconic espresso-based drink known for its creamy, foamy top. Cappuccino originated in Italy and are traditionally amde with a shot of esspresso, steamed milk, and a layer of milk foam.The name is believed to come from the Capuchin monks, whose brown robes and distinctive hoods resemble the colour and appearance of the drink.

This day honors the rich, intense quick brew coffee. Espresso serves as the base for many beloved coffee drinks, like lattes, cappucinos and Americanos. With its robust flavour and energising kick, espresso has become central to cafe culture globally!

Bonfire Night

Also known as Guy Fawkes Night, is to celebrate when a group of Catholic conspirators attempted to blow up Houses of Parliment to assinate King James I.The plot, known as Gunpowder Plot, was foiled and Fawkes was caught guarding the gunpowder beneath Parliament. The following year, Londoners were encouraged to celebrate the King's survival with bonfires, marking the start of tradition.

Remember, remember the 5th of November, Gunpowder, treason, and plot.

I see no reason why gunpowder treason should ever be forgot.
