  • Many of the callers have spoken with someone from the firm, possibly through email, and have been directed to call US for an intake to be completed.
  • We can confirm with the caller what information they have provided to the firm, such as their work history, and to see if this was gathered over a phone call

SECURE AN INTAKE

  • Let the caller answer on their own. If unsure, mark it as unknown.
  • Google is your friend - Make sure the answer the caller is giving is actually a form of cancer. If you’re not sure, try searching what they tell you on google.

DO NOT read options or make suggestions to the caller. ↓↓↓

  • If the caller states they smoked for 35 years, DO NOT enter that in the box and continue. Ask for a RANGE in YEARS or AGE

Have you ever smoked?

  • Make sure to always include “Before 1983” when asking the questions related to the caller’s work history.
  • We should also repeat all the information back to the caller to confirm it was before 1983 and is as accurate as possible.
  • If the caller mentions a time frame after 1983, double check if it began before 1983.
