What is a colleague's responsibility within GDPR

There are numerous controls in place to protect Thrive and ensure we are following the regulation fully, but in most cases, GDPR problems are caused by simple human error.

Remain vigilant, particularly when sharing or sending information via email. Just check who is CC'd or involved in email chains.

know your responsibilities and take care when reading through this training - its important we all take responsibility for our actions.

Make sure you are using our systems correctly - request additional support if you feel uncomfortable actioning things on our systems/

Making mistakes is inevitable- but when you do make one that impacts GDPR compliance, report it immediately so we can mitigate the risk

Check email threads and ensure that we aren't inadvertantly re-sharing old emails unnecessarily.
