Alliances for Innovation

They mainly aime at:

  • strengthening Europe's innovation capacity, through cooperation and knowledge flow between higher education, vocational education and training and the wider socio-economic environment, including research;
  • promoting the supply of new skills and address skills mismatches by designing and creating new curricula for higher education (HE) and vocational education and training (VET).

ERASMUS+ PROGRAMME KEY ACTION 2: COOPERATION AMONG ORGANIZATIONS AND INSTITUTIONS Alliances for Innovation Call: Partnerships for Innovation - Alliances (ERASMUS-EDU-2024-PI- ALL-INNO)

For the first time, an ITS and a Campus des métiers have had the opportunity to access an Alliance...

HUCO Labs BACKGROUND

SUPPORT EUROPE'S CAPACITY TO DEVELOP, PROVIDE, PROTECT AND MAINTAIN CRITICAL TECHNOLOGIES FOR THE PROSPERITY OF ITS BUSINESSES

In particular, in the Advanced manufacturing field this implies:

  • the development of European research and development (R&D) competencies;
  • the achievement and preservation of a position of leadership in key enabling technologies (KETs);
  • the achievement of the goal of a sustainable digital transformation;
  • the valorization of high-skilled people and work force, so-called “talents”.

HUCO Labs BACKGROUND

GREEN SKILLS

INDUSTRY 4.0 SKILLS

RESPOND TO THE INCREASED DEMAND FROM COMPANIES FOR RESOURCES CAPABLE OF COMBINING COMPLEX SKILLS:

  • knowledge and ability to apply Advanced Industry 4.0 technologies;
  • strong skills in the use of digital tools, including innovative ones;
  • a systemic approach to sustainability (green solutions and practices);
  • and research and development skills to address innovation in technology-intensive sectors.

RESEARCH SKILLS

DIGITAL SKILLS

HUCO Labs BACKGROUND

TO TRAIN MID-LEVEL TECHNICIANS ABLE TO CONTRIBUTE TO TECHNOLOGICAL RESEARCH

While highly skilled engineers play the major role in creating knowledge, technicians, if properly trained, can also give a significant contribution, with their suggestions, to the continuous improvement of products, processes and technologies.Incremental innovation requires intimate familiarity with the smallest steps in the production sequence, which technicians acquire through their experience of installation, operation, maintenance, adaptation and troubleshooting with machines and processes.

In carrying out their duties, technicians have the possibility to identify the most significant improvements and contribute to the co-creation of the knowledge that gives rise to incremental innovation.

HUCO Labs BACKGROUND

By actively participating in the innovation processes, they can also become bearers of innovation on the production lines, facilitating the transfer of new knowledge to production operators, making the technology transfer process more immediate, easy, clear and understandable for them, thanks to the consolidated sharing of languages and operating practices.To train those high-skilled technician, able to act as agents of change and mediators of innovation, HIGHER VET (HVET) can play a crucial role. In fact, competitive manufacturing heavily relies on mid-skilled people trained in short-cycle tertiary education:

HUCO Labs main objectives

Creating a European HUCO Labs ecosystem, conceived as a “Technological European Village for Technicians”, where partners can share infrastructures, technological equipment and laboratories for training and research, concretely cooperating to establish a new effective environment where training and research might integrate and merge

Testing the introduction of R&D related skills in Higher VET pathways (EQF 5 – 6), promoting an innovative multidisciplinary approach, compared to the current Higher VET offer, focused on powerful form of research-based education, being based on students learning through doing research

Strengthening the capacity of HVET teachers, academic professors and industrial researchers from companies to effectively interact and cooperate, in order to provide students with the fundamental integrated knowledge / experience, necessary to approach the world of industrial research, taking into account all perspectives

DUAL SYSTEM

DUAL SYSTEM

applied to research

Learning method based on the alternation of training moments "in the classroom" (at a training institution) and moments of practical training in "working contexts" (at a company / organization)

Learning modality based on the alternation of training moments "in the classroom" and moments of applied research activity in "work contexts" (eg. Research and Development and / or Engineering Area)

2+1

VISION:

attend a 5° level course in a country....
....complete the 6° level course in another country....

VISION:

To create a European ecosystem of technological villages where Higher VET (5th- 6th levels) – Companies – Universities cooperate for research, multipling the 2+1 concept

MECA-Puglia MEchatronics CAmpus - Puglia

The MECA – Puglia aims to create a synergy between:
  • The Italian National Network of Mechatronic ITS Academies
  • The French National Network of Campus des Métiers in the Mechatronics Area
The aim is to define a model of a 5th level higher technical training SUMMER CAMPUS, capable of intercepting supply chains at an inter-regional and European level, and offering:
  • To the students: a unique, multicultural and highly stimulating environment, where they can share, within the context of highly technological laboratory activities, experiences of developing their skills (technical, personal, cultural)
  • To teachers: a precious opportunity for professional updating, comparison between educational systems, and co-definition/planning of concrete future ITS-Campus cooperation scenarios.

Communicate

Showing enthusiasm, giving a smile, and maintaining eye contact with your audience can be your best allies when it comes to telling stories that excite and pique the interest of the public: 'The eyes, chico. They never lie'. This will help you make a connection with your audience. Leave them speechless!

Design

If you want to provide additional information or develop the content in more detail, you can do so through your oral presentation.We recommend that you practice your voice and rehearse: the best improvisation is always the most worked!

Plan

What you read: interactivity and animation can make the most boring content fun. At Genially, we use AI (Awesome Interactivity) in all our designs, so you can level up with interactivity and turn your content into something that adds value and engages.

Structure

When carrying out a presentation, two objectives must be pursued: conveying information and avoiding yawns. To achieve this, it may be a good practice to create an outline and use words that engrave in the minds of your audience.
