Today, we will explore the life cycle of a frog! Why? To understand how frogs grow, change and live in their environment. Goal: Identify the stages in a frog’s life. Objectives: -Identify the Stages -Recognize each stage in the frog life cycle: egg, tadpole, froglet, and adult frog. -Sequence the Life Cycle-Put the stages in the correct order, from beginning to end.-Describe Physical Changes-Explain the changes the frigs go through, like growing legs and moving to land. *In the image on the next slide there are 7 interactive buttons. Each button you will click on to discover articles or videos explaining the life cycle of the frog. There is one invisible button so be sure to look very carefully for it. After reviewing the material there will be a short discussion be prepared to answer a question.

Egg-Frogs lay eggs in the water. This is the beginning stage of the frog's life. Tadpole-The egg hatches into a tadpole. Tadpoles have tails and live in water. Tadpole with Legs-The tadpole starts to grow legs. It’s beginning to change! Froglet-The tadpole grows more legs and loses its tail. It starts living on land. Adult Frog-It can live on land and water.
