Carlmont features 5 elevators throughout the school in the: U-hall, S-hall, D/E hall, Quad, and F-hall allowing easy access up and down different levels of the school.
Flat Areas
While there are many levels to Carlmont's campus, moving from side to side is easier due to the vast array of flat and wide paths which are helpful when moving with crutches or in a wheelchair.
Ramps
Ramps around school take out needing stairs to move up and down different levels of school. They feature rails on the side for easy mobility.
Cart Routes
By using cart routes, students can be transported to and from classes for faster and less strenuous travel when going far distances around campus.
Drop off/pick up spots
Easily accessible drop off and pick up spots such as the roundabout on the San Carlos side of campus are recommended for students with mobility issues to limit going up and down stairs.
