Introduction to American' politics
The United States has a democratic system with three branches: the Executive, led by the President; the Legislative, with Congress (Senate and House of Representatives); and the Judicial, headed by the Supreme Court. The President, currently Joe Biden, serves a four-year term, and the next election is in November 2024. Congress makes laws, and the Supreme Court interprets them to ensure they follow the Constitution.
The Electoral Campaign
These include the timing of the campaign, ability to campaign freely, the neutrality of electoral officials during the campaign, security for participants, and access to medai. Here you can access Harris' and Trump's electoral agenda 2024
Electoral campaigns are the competitive efforts by candidates and political parties to win voter support in the period preceding an election. Candidates use a variety of techniques to reach the voters, from public appearances and rallies to the use of mass media advertising. In the campaign, candidates work to get their messages out and to encourage voters to turn out and vote for them or their party. There are several campaign issues that can affect the freeness and fairness of the election.

Requirement n.1: citizen
To run for President of the United States, a person must meet certain requirements:1. Be a natural-born U.S. citizen – either born in the U.S. or born abroad to U.S. citizen parents. A well-known example of someone who wanted to run but didn’t meet the "natural-born citizen" rule is Arnold Schwarzenegger. He was born in Austria and couldn’t run for president, even though he was the governor of California. Henry Kissinger, a former Secretary of State born in Germany, also couldn’t run for the same reason.
National Conventions
To become the presidential nominee, a candidate typically has to win a majority of delegates. This usually happens through the party's state primaries and caucuses as previously explained. State delegates go to the national convention to confirm their choice of candidates by casting votes. (If no candidate gets the majority of a party's delegates during the primaries and caucuses, convention delegates choose the nominee. This happens through additional rounds of voting.)
At the convention, the presidential nominee officially announces who will run with them for vice president.

The party of inclusion
“Democrats are the party of inclusion. We know that diversity is not our problem—it is our promise. As Democrats, we respect differences of perspective and belief, and pledge to work together to move this country forward, even when we disagree ... we do not merely seek common ground—we strive to reach higher ground.”

The green party
Caucuses are meetings held by the political parties in the state. At some caucuses, candidates are selected by secret ballot; but at others, voters Gather in groups to indicate support for a candidate. The number of delegates each candidate receives is based on the caucus vote. The delegates then go on to represent their state or territory at the national political party conventions.
Caucases
Primaries are conducted like regular elections; voters cast their ballots privately in a booth or by mail. Delegates are then awarded to candidates based on the vote.
