This book is talking about four fantastic women who had a complicated life to succeed in a world of men. Next I will talk about them.

Colette was a very restless girl and at the age of 20 she met Henry Gauthier-Villars whom she married and went to life in Paris.Henry was a successful book publisher and he encouraged her to write books for publication but her name didn´t appear anywhere and she decided to run away.Latter she met Henry de Jouvenel who published her books and under her name and made her famous.

Hedy Lamarr was a woman who made movies and had to escape because a movie was banned in the US.In 1940 she had de brilliant idea of inventing radio frequency. When she wanted to patent it, they didn´t let her and all the men made fun of her.After much struggle, she was recognized 14 years after her death.

Angela Oaks was a girl who was born into a wealthy family. When she graduated, she decided to be a teacher.After the civil war in 1936, Angela had to survive and continue teaching, so she invented a machine that allowed students to write 250 words in a minute.Angela died on October 27, 1975.

Artemisa Gentileschi was a girl who was born into an artistic family. His father used a part of the house for his painting studio. Her father had a best friend who was different from the rest and he had a great ability. The tragedi began when her mother died one Christmas and the there was a much worse tragedy in which she was traumatized. Her father´s friend raped her without her consent and she did not dare to tell her father.Finally she told him and his father reported him.

I really liked the book because it tells stories of women who fought for their rights and to be happy despite the difficulties.
