A charcoal iron

A washboard

Question 1 - Two old household objects

1) Washboard: Before washing machines, people used a washboard, often made of stone or wood, to wash clothes by hand. They would scrub clothes with soap on a slanted, rough surface. 2) Charcoal iron: Before modern electric irons, people used a charcoal iron, which was heated by placing hot coals inside. The heat allowed them to iron clothes, though the process was much slower and required care to avoid burning the fabric.

Question 2 - What is the most important invention?

In our opinion, one of the most incredible inventions is the car, because over time there have been many evolutions and changes. Now there are even electric cars and self-driving cars.

Question 3: Compare and contrast past and present habits linked to games

Hopscotch, known in Italian as “Campana,” was a popular game among children in the 1980s and 1990s. Kids would draw numbered squares on the ground with chalk and jump from one square to another. This simple game encouraged movement and socialization, as it was often played in groups in playgrounds and during school recess. Today, however, hopscotch has almost disappeared. Children now prefer digital games and often don’t have access to spaces where they can draw and play freely. This change reflects a shift from physical and group-based games to digital and more individual activities

Question 4: One of the latest toy/game among children

“1, 2, 3 stella!” is a classic Italian game that many children enjoy playing, including when I was younger. The game involves one person standing at a distance with their back to the rest of the players, who are trying to move closer to them. The person calls out “1, 2, 3 stella!” and then quickly turns around. While their back is turned, the others can move forward, but as soon as they face the group, everyone must freeze. If the person sees anyone moving, that player must return to the starting point. The first player to tag the person wins and becomes the next one to call “1, 2, 3 stella!” I chose this game because it is simple, requires no equipment, and can be played almost anywhere. It also helps children develop their ability to focus, as they have to stop moving immediately when the caller turns around. Additionally, it’s a game that encourages physical activity and friendly competition, making it fun for both small and large groups of children. The suspense of trying to sneak closer without being seen creates a lot of excitement, making it a favorite among kids.

1) Were you able to get out after dinner? No, my parents didn't allow it. 2) Were you able to choose your own school? Yes, but i had to work right after high school. 3) How did you get to school? No, i liked it only on the last two years.
