What does the regulation say?

According to DODI 5400.17

• Clear distinction between personal and official use
• Cannot be affiliated with any political party
• Cannot post offensive, threatening, vulgar content
• Do not violate OPSEC
• DoD personnel are not allowed to use their official position for personal financial gain, to endorse products or services, or to benefit friends or relatives. They are also prohibited from using government resources for personal activities.
