Social media has changed the way that we keep in touch with friends, get news and interact with people all over the world. It has opened up new possibilities for us but can also be very addictive.

Young people are vulnerable to dangerous challenges promoted on social media, which can result in injuries.

Have a strong password and only accept friend requests from people you know.

If you witness abusive behavior, report it and block the person.

On instagram we can share moments with friends throught photos and videos and talk to people. It´s a space to get inspired and follow trends.

Snapchat is a social network focused on sharing photos, videos and chats that disappear once viewed. It is know for its filters.

X is a social network where ideas and news are shared with a focus on real-time interaction. Allows you to follow trends and participate in discussions.

On TikTok, we can create and share videos. The plataform allows each person to edit their video to their liking and post it to anyone.

Our opinion

In our opinion, social media platforms have a lot of advantages and provide us with many resources that, when used correctly, are very useful. On the other side, social media can have a big negative impact on people and can cause severe problems, specially on people´s mental health, so we have to be careful while using these kinds of platforms.
