Curriculum Map

The pacing guide is usually created by a district. This guidance document lets teachers remain on target and enables curriculum continuity among all of the schools of the district. Pacing guides can be utilized for prescriptive pacing or guiding the curriculum among other ways.

Curriculum mapping refers the process of aligning to the skills required for the grade level or class being taught. It serves as a "big picture" or road map outlining the courses of instruction for the year, together with the how and when.
