PAST SIMPLE VS PAST PERFECT

STRUCTURE: Subject + - Regular Verbs: Ending in -ed - Irregular Verbs: Change their form

USE: We use past simple with finished actions,states or habits in the past. We usually have a past time word (Yesterday, last week, last Summer, in 1975...)

STRUCTURE: It is formed using the auxiliary "had" + the past participle of the main verb.

USE: We use the past perfect to describe a past action that occured before another past action.

PAST PERFECT
08:36 a.m.
08:33 a.m.
The train had already left at 08:33 a.m.

When I arrived to the train station at 08:36 a.m.
