HOW TO PLAY

  • Arrange students individually or groups and give a board each.
  • Each player individually or each player in the group must choose a colour: blue, green, yellow, pink or orange. They will receive a counter to mark their position and a token (house) (preferably, the same colour as their counter) to indicate the questions they have answered correctly throughout the game.
  • Each player should take their counter and place it on the starting square. Write down the starting order of the students on the board, like this: blue first, then green, then yellow, then pink, and lastly orange. To start playing, the teacher rolls the huge dice and Blues move their counter to the corresponding square.
  • If Blues can answer the question correctly, they earn the right to place one of their houses on that square. That square is now officially theirs!
  • If another player lands on a square that is already occupied by a coloured token, they will have to answer the question, but they will not claim the square.
  • The player with the most coloured tokens on the board, once all squares are occupied, will win the game.
  • Special squares: light bulb (make up a sentence with a first conditional); petrol pump (make up a sentence with a second conditional); money (if they have, get 1 square from the student on your left); gift (if they have, get 1 square from the student on your right); question mark (make up a conditional question and ask it to the student on your left); skull (give two tokens to the teacher); tooth (make up a conditional question and ask it to the student on your right).
