A Global Classroom Experience

Students will collaborate with international peers through digital platforms to explore and compare cultural practices, creating a multimedia cultural exhibition that showcases their learning and promotes cross-cultural understanding.

Cultural Connections Project: Assessment Plan
This assessment plan evaluates student performance in five main areas, totaling 100 points. 1. Cultural Understanding (25 points)This will be assessed through ongoing research reviews and a final project. It looks at how well students conduct cultural research, understand cultural elements, and make comparisons between different cultures. 2. Digital Communication (25 points) This will be tracked weekly using communication logs and quality reviews. It focuses on how often partners communicate, the quality of these exchanges, and their use of proper digital etiquette. 3. Collaboration (20 points)This will be evaluated through peer assessments and teacher observations. It measures teamwork in both local and international contexts throughout the project. 4. Digital Creation (20 points) This will assess students' technical skills with digital tools and the creativity and effectiveness of their final presentation. 5. Reflection and Growth (10 points) This will be evaluated through weekly journal entries and a final reflection piece. It looks at how deeply students reflect and provide evidence of their learning during the project.
