Multiple Means of Engagement
Multiple Means of Representation
Multiple Means of Action and Expression
This principle highlights the importance of offering students multiple ways to showcase their learning. It recognizes that students have diverse abilities and preferences in how they express their knowledge, encouraging the use of various methods such as writing, speaking, drawing, or utilizing technology
This principle addresses the ways information is presented to students. Since students perceive and comprehend information differently, UDL promotes offering content in multiple formats, such as text, audio, video, and interactive media
This principle focuses on motivating students and keeping them engaged. It recognizes that students have different interests and preferences, so it encourages the use of various methods to capture their attention and sustain their motivation
