It is celebrated on October 31, the most representative are hand-carved pumpkins, houses are decorated in the most creative way possible of this theme, people especially children dress up as any character they can think of, also trick-or-treaters trick-or-treat house to house, scary houses, horror festivals, horror movie marathons, costume parties.

Here as in Ireland and Wales is celebrated the so-called “Samhain”, this holiday began on October 31 and lasted 3 days, it is said to be the one that inspired Halloween, the holiday marks the transition from the brightest half of the year to the darkest, it is believed that during this time the forces of darkness is present, so a big bonfire was lit to chase them away, for the same reason people dress up and put on masks, so the most popular characters such as witches are related to halloween, over time the holiday changed and the name too, and was called all hallows eve or halloween, but in these cities it is still known as samhain.
SCOTLAND
In the Philippines they actually celebrate All Saints Day, rather they celebrate the Day of the Dead as well as in Mexico, however they have an activity very similar to “trick or treat”, called Pangangaluluwa, this activity just like trick or treat, children went from door to door disguised with white cloths and painted face, also like Christmas carols, a song is sung, and instead of receiving candy in return, money is received, however it is a tradition that is no longer very common due to the passage of time, has been losing interest in this activity.

This celebration unlike the others is not celebrated in October, if not between March or June, depending on the lunar calendar, this celebration is also celebrated the return of the spirits, is celebrated with a big parade in which participants are disguised with large and colorful masks, and are responsible for scaring the public, making jokes or scaring them from behind.
