Request a list of professional references who can provide insight into the candidate's qualifications and work ethic, emphasizing the importance of relevant contacts such as former supervisors or colleagues.

Invite the candidate to ask questions for clarification on the position, hours, salary, and benefits, answering as frankly as possible.
Walk the candidate to the door, thank them for their time, and leave a positive impression. After the interview, update the hiring matrix for all active candidates.
