INK: Our Journey

2011: New Beginnings

BCFS Education Services was born, providing Head Start and Early Head Start services to 93 children in Kendall County.

INK: Our Journey

2013: Atascosa, Karnes, and Wilson

Just two years later, BCFS Education Services expanded to Atascosa, Karnes, and Wilson counties, increasing from just 13 staff to 57, and began providing services to 360 additional children.

2014: Comal and Guadalupe

Extending to Comal and Guadalupe counties grew staff by 49 and added an additional 340 children to our reach.

2015: Bee, Goliad, Live Oak, Regugio, Fredricksburg, and Johnson City

2015 was one of the largest years of expansion, adding 6 counties, 77 staff, and 500 additional chidren into the program.

2017: Jackson, Victoria, Lavaca, Calhoun, Gonzalez, and Dewitt

Another 6 counties were added for another tremendous year of growth, which brought along another 90 staff and 467 children into the program.

2021: Home-Based Services

2021 brought an expansion to BCFS Education Service's programs with the addition of home-based services like virtual instruction and virtual instructional coaching. Additionally, we were awarded an Early Head Start Expansion Grant to further our reach and continue providing our comprehensive services.

2022: New Name, Same Mission

In October 2022, BCFS Education Services rebranded to become Innovative Network of Knowledge, or INK. Same great team, facilities, and services, with a new name and look.

2023: Expansion to Louisiana

INK was awarded the Ouachita Parish in Louisiana after previously only providing services to counties in Texas.

2024: Expansion to Alabama

INK expanded to another state when we were awarded Walker County in Alabama.
