Democracy: Is a form of government in which citizens rule by voting either directly or through a representative. Althoughh democracy is the best form of government that creates the most equality, it is not without its flaws. Sometimes powerful speakers persuaded citizens to vote unwisely.

Patriarchy: a system of society or government in which men hold the power and women are largely excluded from it. It involves the belief that men should hold power in the family and society, leading to the acceptance of violence against women as a means of maintaining male control.

Dictatorship: is a form of government in which one person or a small group possesses absolute power without effective constitutional limitations. Originated in the early Roman Republic to refer to a constitutional office with a temporary grant of absolute power to a leader to handle some emergency.

Republic: is a form of government in which a state is ruled by representatives of the citizen body.Because citizens do not govern the state themselves but through representatives, republics may be distinguished from direct democracy, though modern representative democracies are by and large republics. The term republic may also be applied to any form of government in which the head of state is not a hereditary monarch.

Empire is a relevant political entity where the metropolis, or sole sovereign authority, exercises dominion over an extensive territory or a series of territories or communities through formal annexations or various forms of informal domination.
