Sentence structure refers to how words are organized and combined to form meaningful sentences. It is essential to communicate ideas clearly and correctly. Sentences usually have different elements and can be classified according to their complexity.

Examples of the sentences structure :

  • She reads books every night.
  • The dog barked loudly.
  • I like ice cream

1. Communicate ideas clearly. They help make messages clear and understandable to the receiver. Example: She eats apples is clearer than Eats she apples

Sentence structures are essential for communicating ideas effectively, avoiding misunderstandings, and making the use of English more natural, both in writing and speaking. Mastering these structures is key to expressing oneself correctly

3. Build different types of messages. With the different structures (simple, compound, complex) we can adapt the message according to the context. Simple sentences for straightforward ideas: I love pizza. Complex sentences for detailed explanations: Although it was late, I kept working.

2. Avoid misunderstandings. A good word order allows you to express exactly what you want to say. Example: He helped his brother because he was tired? Structure matters to clarify it).
