Types of Assignments (May be different for your school) Summative: 60% Formative: 30% Quarterly: 10%
Receptive Assessments
Record yourself signing or fingerspelling a dialogue or vocabulary list.
Formative Assessments
Bell-ringers, Check-ins throughout a lesson, Exit ticket. Use of "Wheel of Names to call on people.
Summative Assessments
Official Tests for a unit. Can include multiple choice, recordings, or other interactive elements.
Quarterly Assessments
Just like Summative, but includes everything learned during the quarter/semester.

What are we going to need?
Laptop Camera on Nearpod Notebook, pencil
- Join class in Zoom
- Camera on at all times (unless recording for an assignment)
- Sign along with vocabulary, answer questions posed in chat or in video
- Join Nearpod
- Participate in the activities
- Notebook and pencil good for notes to view offline

Things to remember: * ASL is visual - No voicing during vocabulary learning/review *Eye contact at all times *Ask questions if you don't know what is being signed * Learning a language takes time. Be patient with yourself * Try your best ALWAYS
