Western Hemisphere

The Western Hemisphere is located west of the Prime Meridian and includes North and South America. Example: The United States and Canada are in the Western Hemisphere, while Brazil and Argentina are in the Southern part of this hemisphere.

Eastern Hemisphere

The Eastern Hemisphere is located east of the Prime Meridian, which runs through Greenwich, England. It includes parts of Europe, Asia, Africa, and Australia. Example: Countries like China and India are in the Eastern Hemisphere.

Norther Hemisphere

The Northern Hemisphere is the half of the Earth that is north of the Equator. It includes countries like the United States, Canada, Europe, and much of Asia. Most of the world's population lives in this hemisphere. Example: During summer months in the Northern Hemisphere (around June to September), places like New York experience warm weather and long days.

Southern Hemisphere

The Southern Hemisphere is the half of the Earth that lies south of the Equator. It includes countries like Australia, Brazil, and parts of Africa. Example: When it is summer in the Northern Hemisphere, it is winter in the Southern Hemisphere. For instance, in December, Australia experiences summer while the United States is in winter.
