Protecting and looking after ourselves
All colleagues should feel safe to report sexual harassment in the workplace if they are experiencing it themselves or see it happening to others. All reports will be taken seriously and investigated and we want to ensure any victims of sexual harassment are treated with confidentiality, security and support. Reports should be made to members of the leadership team or the people team and we can take this forward and do what needs to be done to protect our colleagues.
How to report sexual harassment in the workplace
- A loss of power or autonomy, feeling less in control of their actions
- Feelings of being taken advantage of
- Scared to speak out for fear of backlash
- Ashamedness or awkwardness that they have brought it on themselves
- Scared to engage or come to work
- Fear of not being believed.
