PLACE Tom Sawyers's set is the Mississippi River, America.

This story is about Tom Sawyer, a 13 years old American boy who lived near the great Mississippi River in 1844. Tom was an orphan and he had a brother, Sid. Tom and Sid both lived with their aunt Polly, in a small house in St Petersburg, a village in Georgia, in the south of the United States. Tom was a troublemaker, he liked adventures and he hate school. One day a new girl arrived in city and Tom fell in love with her. Tom met Huck Finn and Huck told Tom they met at the graveyard at midnight. because there were devils. At the graveyard they saw Injun Joe stabbed Dr. Robinson with Muff's knife. They run away and didn't say anyone what they saw. After any days Tom got sick so Aunt Polly prepared some remedies for him but it were disgusting and he gave them to the cat. Becky didn't talk to Tom so he decided to skip school and walked away. Tom, Huck and Joe went camping on a small island in the middle of the river; they crossed the river in a small boat and set up a camp on the island. They had fun but one day they heard strange sounds and saw some boats on the river. They decided to back home during Sunday mess. In summer Becky went away on holiday and the trial for the Dr. Robinson's omicide start. Injun Joe dead, Becky return from her holiday and agreed to be Tom’s girlfriend. Tom, Becky and Huck decided to form gang.

MY FAVOURITE PART

is when Tom Sawyer wants to become Becky's boyfriend. (Leonardo) is when Tom and Huk meet at the graveyard and they see three figures fighting and Injun Joe killed the doctor. (Marc, Maxim, Diego, Gabriele)

MARK TWAIN (THE AUTHOR)(1835-1910) , whose real name was Samuel Langhorne Clemens, was a novelist and riverboat pilot who became one of the most important writers of American literature. Twain was a supporter of the abolition of slavery and the emancipation of slaves.Twain was also a supporter of women's suffrage.
