UWD escalated in tactics and the Education Not Deportation (END) campaign was born. The END program, for example, was launched in 2010 to stop the deportation of Dreamers and their families by highlighting their stories and galvanizing support from the community. END not only worked with local groups to stop deportations, but also evolved to lead all of UWD’s local enforcement campaigns and efforts.

The DACA movement lead to a lot student organited protests around the country
It was announced by President Barack Obama on June 15, 2012, and the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), an agency of the Department of Homeland Security, began accepting DACA applications in August 2012.
There are no new current DACA cases being processed. only people that are renewing current permits . Social movements such as Community organizing , student protesting and activism are the drving force of what keeps this message alive!

One of the current issues that undocumented Students are batting is the unfair job practices taking place around all UC campus. curent undocumented students who aren't current DREAMERS/DACA recipients are not eligible to hold job on campus.

This lead to my journey in comminity organizing. back in 2018 group and i traveled to Washington as part of Human Agenda we protested with other organizations and had the opportunity to canvass around the capital and shared our experience as undocumented students
