MATEO 24:42-44

"Kaya't maging handa kayo dahil hindi ninyo alam kung kailan darating ang inyong Panginoon. Tandaan ninyo ito: kung alam ng may-ari ng bahay kung anong oras sa gabi darating ang magnanakaw, siya'y maghahanda at hindi niya pababayaang pasukin ang kanyang bahay."

"Being ready" means...

Living each day for anticipation of Jesus Christ's return; living a sanctified; standing out and reflecting the transformative power of faith; and having a renew withness, sharing the love of Jesus Christ.

How to live a sanctified life?

1) Realize your sin...

Because sin cause us to run away from God.

Romans 6:23

Sapagkat kamatayan ang kabayaran ng kasalanan , ngunit ang walang bayad na kalooban ng Diyos ay buhay na walng hangan.

2) Repent from sin...

confessing you sin to God cleans us from all unrighteousness.

1 John 1:9

Kung ipapahayag natin ang ating mga sala. Sya ay Diyos na nagpapatawad sa ating mga kasalanan. Sapagkat sya ay tapat at matuwid.

3) Reconnect with God...

God has been calling for you to draw you near Him, our God is faithful, our Lord is near even when we are feeling distant from Him. To feel closer to God ,spend time with Him, pray, thank him for giving you the conscience to realize your sin.

Characteristics of a sanctified life...

  • A whole hearted love for God, and neighbor.
  • Having the mind of Christ.
  • Bearing the fruit of the Holy spirit.
  • Complete devotion of God.
