… pero, en realidad, a la mayoría de la gente no le gustan las corridas: mucho más a las personas mayores que a los jóvenes, aunque también es verdad que en muchos pueblos españoles hay fiestas en las que los toros corren por las calles … Los defensores de las corridas dicen que son una tradición, pero yo no estoy muy convencida de que esta sea una razón válida para justificar su existencia

Antes de venir a España, creía que las corridas de toros eran el deporte nacional y no podía entender cómo podía existir un país en Europa en el que se celebrara una fiesta tan cruel …

Pero me he dado cuenta de que a los jóvenes españoles no les gusta mucho el flamenco, que es más típico del sur de España, de Andalucía, y que poca gente sabe bailarlo o cantarlo bien … ¡Qué pena!

Yo vine a España porque estaba enamorada del flamenco … Creía que todo el mundo sabía bailarlo y que tocaban la guitarra española perfectamente …
