Gerund: a word ending in "ing" that is made from a verb and used like a noun.
Infinitive: the basic form of a verb that usually follows "to". (TO+VERB)
EXAMPLE: - I miss living in london
- She's expected to get the job

- Adjective+infinitive: we are proud of winning the competition.
- start+both: i want to start to go/going to the gym.
NOTE WELL: When you start a sentence with a verb, the verb needs to be gerund
