Vizient's Quality and Accountability Study rankings rose from No. 81 out of 100 academic hospitals to No. 32 (top decile in risk adjusted mortality and overall efficiency).
Named a 2024 Newsweek World's Best Smart Hospitals
#1 hospital in Tampa Bay and #2 in Florida by U.S. News & World Report for 2024-25 and ranked among the top 50 hospitals in the nation in eight specialties. Tampa General also was ranked as “high performing,” or among the top 10% of hospitals in the nation, in five more specialties along with 12 procedures and conditions.
One of only 24 health systems in the nation to receive the 2024-25 WebMD Elite Choice Award, which honors systems that patients and providers prefer 2-to-1 over competitors.
