Why do we learn personal engineering?
- Because we want to be the best version of ourselves.
- It allows us to really understand what we want to achieve in our lives.
- It allows us to better understand what actions we should prioritize to achieve our objectives.
- It allows us to identify the necessary moments of rest and recognize when we are assuming too many responsibilities.
- And creates a better understanding about our roles in other people’s lives.

Let's talk about roles.
Knowing our roles is important to prioritize the actions we need to take to correctly fulfill each one of them. Under specific circumstances the hierarchy of roles can change, in these scenarios it is also useful to understand where our focus is and what is not that important now.
"Waste"
Activity: 1. For one week calculate how much time your "waste" take.
The term Muda translates from Japanese as "waste" and refers to elements that consume resources without providing added value. Identifying them give us change opportunities Controlable: social networks Non-controlable: traffick.
Time
Roles
Activity time.
Let's put in practice what we have learn.
1. Managing your focus is something you can actually do. 2. Managing your focus is something important that’ll get you results.
Reframing The Focus (Literally)
The concept of "time management".
We are all given the same 24 hours a day. Time is not something we can manage. We can’t make it faster. We can’t make it slower. We can’t save some of it for later.

Activity
Think on a goal that you want to complete, establish what you want to do, then think of strong reasons that make you want to accomplish that goal and finally the actions you have to implement to do it.
TLet's see and better understand what the concept of neuroplasticity is and why it is important for us
Neuroplasticity
How does the brain works
How to rewire your brain
It is estimated that create a new habit takes 21 days to create a new habit and them average, it takes more than 2 months before a new behavior becomes automatic. Neuroplasticity needs consistency and discipline.

Entry of new information
In this phase, we immerse ourselves in the exploration of new concepts and relevant data. Get ready to absorb key information and reflect on its meaning and application in our task. It's time to expand our cognitive horizons!

Activity
It's time to put what we've learned into practice! In this activity, we will test our creativity and skills by applying the acquired concepts to solve specific challenges. Let's get to work to bring our ideas to life!

Development activity II
Attention team! 🌈 Now that we have our map and know where we are heading, it's time to dive into the heart of our adventure: the development activities. 🛠️ During this stage, we are going to discover new content and practice skills that will be fundamental to achieve our great goal: the final product we are creating. Each piece of information is a tool we add to our toolbox that will help us build that product at the end of the road. That's why it's important to be very attentive and take advantage of every moment to learn and grow. Are you ready to embark on this phase of exploration, discovery, and construction? Let's go for it! 🚀💡

Synthesis activity
We're almost there, Team! 🌟 It's time for synthesis.🎨📚 After all we've learned and practiced, it's time to bring together our knowledge and skills to bring our final product to life. Let's combine everything we know and can do into a creation that we can showcase, exhibit, and share. This stage is crucial: it's when everything makes sense and we see how each piece of the puzzle fits into place. Let's organize our ideas, polish our work, and prepare them for the big moment. Ready to put all your effort and creativity into this final phase? It's time to shine and show the world what we're capable of! Let's get to work, team!🚀💫

Evaluation activity
Great job, Team! 🌈 Now that we've created something amazing together, it's time to reflect. 🤔💡This final stage is as important as the previous ones: evaluation and metacognition. It's our time to become detectives of our own learning, exploring not only what we've learned, but how we've done it. Let's ask some key questions: What new things did we discover? How did we face the challenges during this journey? And most excitingly, where can we apply all this that we've learned in the future? This reflection helps us better understand our learning process, makes us more aware of our skills, and prepares us to use this knowledge in new adventures. Ready for this final mission of self-exploration and future planning? It's time to look back so we can move forward with more strength! 🚀📘

Movement
Specific actions we must take to get to the goal.
- Identify the emotion.
- Identify the message.
- Be thankfull
- Channeled emotion
We All Have Feelings
Acting impulsively based on our emotions can cause us many problems, so we must know how to channel them.
Desire.
The force of desire that makes us move forward. If the desire is not strong enough it could cause the task to be abandoned.
Lazy brain.
Our ancestors lived in environments where resources were scarce, and conserving energy was critical for survival. This evolutionary legacy means our brains are still wired to avoid unnecessary exertion. In a modern context, this can translate to laziness or a reluctance to engage in physically or mentally demanding tasks.
- Breathe in for 7 seconds
- Breathe out for 21 seconds
- Sustain 14 seconds
Breathing exercise
Let's oxygenate the brain
Time to rest the mind
It is time we should dedicate daily to resting from our thoughts, away from other activities that distract us. A time of not thinking about anything.

Expectations
Think about your main roles, what your expectations are and what the expectations of the other party involved could be. Writte them and reflect if you are currently fulfilling them.
Now try to calculate how many hours you dedicate to each of your roles per week.
Time
- Avoid saying NO directly.
- Understand reasons for the request.
- Seek to share alternative reasons.
- Communicate on time.
Say NO without saying it
Now that we can focus our time effectively, we better understand when it will not be possible to complete a task in a given time and from this comes learning to "say no." But in many cases we will find that it is not possible to "refuse" to complete the task or doing so repeatedly could cause future conflicts. What we are looking for is to respond with an alternative or solution that allows us to solve the task with greater flexibility.
Look for moments of reflection to understand what is being done well and what can be improved.
- Meditate this once a month
- What did I learn from this experience?
- What do I think of my behavior?
Taste our progress
Assessment tool
Don't try to answer the questions, the trick is that your brain will subconsciously find the answers involuntarily and this will change the way your brain thinks.
This technique consist in making 27 question to yourself for 21 days.
These questions are created based on what you are looking to achieve, for example, if your goal is to learn a new language then a question could be:- What benefit will I have at work by learning this language?
