AP Email Reminders
For New Business Auto Policies, if the insured isn't enrolled in E-Bill when the pay plan request is sent, the Home Office will send an email reminder to them.
- This is because Auto Policies are only 6 month terms. Therefore, the insured has less time to sign up.
What if Insured Forgets?
If the insured DOES NOT successfully sign up for E-Bill PRIOR to the Policy Renewal generating, the policy will renew on the next available payment plan down.
- So for an Auto Policy on a monthly pay plan, the pay plan would go from a 6-pay to a 3-pay.
Customer Portal Sign Up
If the insured wants a monthly payment plan at New Business... We'll issue the policy on a monthly payment plan, however the insured still has to sign up for E-Bill on the Customer Portal.
What about Other Policy Documentation?
Even though we can send the Bill Notice via email, all other policy documentation is sent via regular US Mail. Therefore, the insured should not ignore any hard copy mail items they receive.
