SCULPTURE

You can incorporate texture into a sculpture by carving lines and patterns.

  • Requires the use of a screen.
  • Design is created by making a negative stencil.
  • The ink will pass through and print through the holes of the stencil.
STENCIL OR SCREENPRINTING
  • You can use values of color to create patterns and depth.
  • If you think back to the gravel, you can see the shapes of that pattern because of the darker gray shadows under the rocks, and the highlights of the object.
