Putifigari

Putifigari, located in north-western Sardinia, is surrounded by hills and unspoilt natural landscapes. Culturally, the town is rich in Sardinian traditions, with religious festivals, popular songs and a historical heritage that includes archaeological sites and typical local gastronomy.

DOMUS DE JANAS

The domus de janas of Putifigari are ancient prehistoric rock-cut tombs dating back to the Neolithic period. These burial hypogea, typical of Sardinia, were used by local communities as collective burials. Characterised by multiple chambers and symbolic engravings, they represent an important archaeological heritage of the area.

WHO ARE WE?

The Consulta Giovanile di Putifigari is a municipal organisation composed of young people from the village, committed to organising events and initiatives for the community. Its objective is to promote active participation and enrich the cultural and social life of the area.
