Debates continue over whether or not kids should be encouraged to play Video games, particularly games where the main objective is focused on shooting and combat. This question deeply concerns parents, behavioral researchers, and educators who seek to understand if the aggresive behavior of children comes from outside influences or what they call a "phase"

3.Boosting Mood and Health
Activities in video games allow people to enter a state of flow allowing them to relax and alleviate stress. Gaming can also provide a refreshing reset for one's mental state. After a while of gaming, people are more likely to get started on their work compared to times they don't play. This may be because video games empower players by giving them control and the opportunity to connect with others. It also makes stressful situations easier to manage and navigate. Children ongoing chemotherapy use games to reduce stress and improve mental health.cl

5.Debunking Violence and Aggression Myths
While some people may believe that as individuals observe more and more violence in video games and media, they become more numb/desensitized to future violence depicted in similar media. However, gamers' reactions are the same as non-gamers when they witness violence perpetrated on someone else in the real world. It is only in video games that they may not make much of a deal out of it because it is not happening in real life.Studies also reveal that violent games help reduce crime rates.

Nothing to see here
Many believe that Video Games cause increased aggression, obesity, and social isolation in youth. But, contrary to that video games help grow social interactions, improve fitness, and improve overall well-being and mood.
Myths vs Truth
- three out of every five adults in the United States feel that video game play is a “waste of time” for both men and women (Duggan 2015)
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit
Study made in California
Reduced the screen time by 43 percent, where students only lost an average of 1 pound.
- "While losing one pound is certainly better than losing none, this change seems insignificant considering the significant amount of screen time parents reduce for their children." - (Markey, Ferguson, and Hopkins X)
- Better to have them drink more water and run -w-
