The Iron MaidenArt 33510/16

About the artifact

The artifact itself is a long human shaped medieval torture deviced used during the European middle ages. The photocard is the true artifact of focus which was believed to have been made using lithography, which is described as a planographic printmaking process in which a design is drawn onto a flat stone (or prepared metal plate, usually zinc or aluminum) and affixed by means of a chemical reaction. The photocard shows a print of the iron maiden in the front as well as an inside view. The words on the bottom are translated to "Iron Maiden".
